MANILA, Philippines — Bea Valdes was introduced as the primary editor-in-chief for Vogue Philippines by writer Condé Nast, forward of the journal’s launch in September.
Additionally introduced as a part of the editorial workforce are Pam Quiñones as trend director, Trina Epilepsia Boutain as digital editor and Rhoda Campos-Aldanese as writer of the title.
“My imaginative and prescient for Vogue Philippines is to guide the trade with goal, leaning into our Filipino values of optimism, bayanihan [the spirit of helping others] and empathy via our tales,” Valde advised Vogue Enterprise. “We have a good time craft and creativity, empowering our group and urging our Filipino tradition ahead.”
Valdes has immense expertise in trend as an equipment designer, along with her work featured in Harper’s Bazaar, The New York Instances, CNN, Time and international Vogue editions.

She studied artistic writing and industrial design on the College of the Philippines, and inside design at London’s Inchbald College of Design.
